I am gonna say rooster. Not 100% though
thick legs comb looks to be getting darker.
hard to tell but think I see sickle/hackle feathers starting to show.

Easter eggers and ameraucana can take there sweet time showing there selves
especially if there is another rooster in the flock.
not 100% sure by any means just looks that way to me at this point

Very new to chicken keeping and picked up 6 EE for Mothers Days... really feel in love with egg color and now falling in love with the chickens. Since my friends won't understand just wanted to share some of my pictures and say I am enjoying reading all the posts and viewing the pictures in this thread. My 6 EE are 10wks old, I also have 2 RIW , 3 GSL that are 18wks and just picked up a batch of 5 RIR and 3 BR 3wks old. However, so far the EE are my favorite.

I love that look on your girl's face. And yes, I would guess Kimber is a roo. I love my EEs too - great personalities.

Roo or pullet? We've guess pullet in the past but I'm just so nervous haha!

These are the ones I have never had good luck with - so I can only wish that you have better luck.

She is 8 weeks or so. Compared to the rest that hatched who were all roos she is the smallest and had the thinnest legs. She also was the only one with a brown color scheme. The rest were white and black and had significantly wider combs and redder combs by 6 weeks.

Your second EE looks almost exactly like my EE named Kenny. She is called Kenny because she has a big, dark beard just like a friend of ours who is named Kenny.

And then this is my other EE, Hen Solo, but I call her Henny.

And finally, here are Henny and Kenny together?

Well at 8 weeks the tail gives me hope its a girl. Usually my boys colored like that didn't get a tail until almost 3 months old.. The last one I had I thought he was part Aracauna for the longest time.

You got all boys with the others?

DMRippy has created an autosexing EE with barred EEs and a Lavender Americana. I think a barred EE is great! Autosexing is made easy with them.

Here are some barred/cuckoo project pics.EE or ameraucana project.Kind of a outlaw ameraucana project.Some of my fellow breeders do not approve but no matter what you call them progress is being made.Slate legs on some.Difficult to get slate legs with sex linked barring but not impossible as the pictures prove.

if she turns roo then that makes 8 ill have and ill just give up on EE
