Hhhhhmmmm...... rooster feathering....... hen face? Was it in a coop with another probably dominant rooster ?
Not sure about that either. If there is no Roo here when do you think he'd try out his crow?
Quote: Yes, if there is no other rooster around it may crow. The only problem is that hens can crow too - so I would be looking for the egg.. The coloring is just different than I have ever seen for a girl, and those tail feathers sure look suspicious.. I have actually seen some black/white EE girls on here so I know they are possible - but the ones I usually see with the black/gold are all boys. Of course, there is a chance it IS actually a girl - and it was a good price - so I would just feed it for awhile and see what it does.
Hahaha I told my hubby that!!! Because of the shiny feathers and tail color but haven't seen any super long tail feathers.
*he?* squats for me lol they told him "she started laying blue eggs last month and was approx 7 months old"
So I await a crow maybe? Or for sure? You guys know your EEs! Lol
Dang it..I'm never gonna get a colored egg!
1 is too young still, 2 refuse to lay and 1 is maybe a Roo? And there are feathers EVERYWHERE, like a hen exploded (molting hit all at the same time lol) doh!
