The EE braggers thread!!!

Hello! Though we purchased two "Ameraucana" pullets they are Easter Eggers from all the descriptions I've read. The children called them 'the chipmunks" when they were babies. They are very friendly and curious. Today we received our first green egg : )

Yep they are easter eggers and often do look like little chimpmunks as chicks. Congrats on your green egg!

Beautiful chickens, they look like gold in that picture. Almost a matched pair. Beautiful egg too!

Thank you everyone for your kind words. Keziah & Sadie are a challenge to photograph because they always move in close to examine my camera! I usually have more luck if they are perched somewhere. This one is Sadie.

I love my EE. She used to not like to get close to people. Now she comes up to me and want to sit on my chair or on my shoulder, but then she squawks loudly and continuously. Usually want to be pet. She kinda squats, but doesn't spread her wings... I love her coloring. Hoping for eggs soon. She is 22weeks. Face and comb started turning more red/pink about 1week ago, but the picture is about 2weeks old
