The EE braggers thread!!!

Thanks! I have 4 others that haven started laying yet. Can't wait to see what they lay! Hopefully some green eggs too

That is what I do enjoy about the EE's the most is the different colored
egg's and raising up the chicks to see which ones will produce which
colors ....

Also the little kids at Easter time when I give them the eggs to color
and just sit back and watch what the reaction is and how they go
about coloring them if at all ......

Since I started back with chickens in 2009, I haven't raised but 1 (Easter Egger) pullet that didn't lay a blue or green egg. She died not long after she started laying so I never hatched any of her eggs.

Here is my rooster that I'm thinking about putting in with my EE girls. His dad was a buff silkie and mom is an EE. What do you think I might get??

Here are the girls. The rooster with them is leaving. He's not very nice to people.

My EE girl has been looking really red lately, and has in the last few days started checking out the nest boxes, and today, was the first squat!!! Here's hoping to finding out what color egg she lays in the next few days!!!

Oh I am so sorry they are such A beautiful bird and to me just a joy to have around
as the EE is such a docile chicken if you ever get the chance to raise them again I
hope you get all the colorful egg's and the joy's of having them around
