She is one of our girls from @Maryhysong in Arizona. . her eggs were a beautiful green color throughout her laying season. Can't wait to see what they look like after her raising the chicks.

The girls I'm taking to the swap this weekend. They are 14 and 16 weeks old right now. They should help pay for the food for everyone else for a few months.

a few new EE babies hatched today! the little brown turned it's head at the last second, but it has a sweet brown/red face with a nice red marking on it's beak, the one in front has a small chipmunk stripe and the one in the back is strawberry blonde with a yellow face.

they were hatched by Super Broody Mama Peach, my EE x Cochin. she still has a few eggs left that will hopefully hatch tonight.

so the eggs came from 2 Barred Rocks, a White Rock, a New Hampshire Red and 2 Buff Orpingtons. she started with 8 eggs, one from each of those hens, plus 2 Silkie eggs, the roo is the sire (not of the Silkie eggs tho' - I hope they hatch, should be bantam white Silkie crossed with my bantam RIR)
