I just found the First Egg Countdown thread, but I thought I could pose my question here since we are all EE people...
When did your EE(s) start laying eggs???
ours are going onto 21 weeks I believe and still waiting on first EE to lay, but we just got our first egg from any of them this past week after we culled and processed two of our RIR roo's that were mean and aggressive. It was two days after that when we got our first egg. I took that a sign e had made th right decision about if flock dynamics.I just found the First Egg Countdown thread, but I thought I could pose my question here since we are all EE people...

I am right there with you. I purchased 3 chicks about 2 weeks ago. 2 so far are roosters and I only have room for 1. I have a baby that is really small and doesn't seem to want to grow. She is a quarter the size of the others but I think she may be a month or more younger.I have so many EE cockerels growing out!! Arg!! Idk what I'm going to do with them all! They r very cute and funny, but I'm trying not to get attached cause I'll prolly have to eat em! I HATE processing birds though. It is just such a mess! Lol
