Thanks! I can't wait to hatch chicks out next spring to see what they will look like! The waiting is killing me

I like to try and be as many places at once as I can. I have cameras all over the place so I can keep an eye on all the birds so I am sure everyone is getting along well. I'm also into new electronic toys so I drive my wife nuts with this stuff. But at least if I hear something crazy outside I can just hit rewind and can see what happened to my birds

That's a good idea. We have security cameras up too with one toward the chickens but not in the coop.

My EE laid her first blue egg on the 15th, she has laid 5 eggs in six days. She is off to a great start after a long wait.

How old is your EE? Still waiting on my first egg from mine! She's 7 months

My EE started laying yesterday a nice little green egg. It was a bit of a surprise i had lost half my flock just the day before so i wasn't expecting an egg from the remaining 4 traumatized hens. Especially one that had never laid an egg before.

The newly laying EE is 25 weeks 3 days old and the other remaining EE of the same age is just starting to have some red in the face.
