The EE braggers thread!!!

she definitely has wheaten ameraucauna in her. I wouldn't know what else she is bred with but if i had to guess a barnevelder because of all the feathers. did she hatch from a blue egg? she looks like there might be something wrong with her. her tail is angled low like she feels sick. check her feathers to see if it's mostly the fluffy feather types.
I think is in more of a curious posture seeing as to the angle of the head and neck.

I believe this was the picture in question for that comment. I assumed since the bird is standing on a roost, that was the "I just woke up" look. :)

She sleeps with her head & tail down. But outside her tail is strait up. She is just one super feathery bird.
That is what I figured. There is a big difference between nappy and normal posture after I rise from my fitful slumber.

You'll be pleased to hear the "flesh eating" chick is behaving much better now. She's still a lil spitfire but I think she understands not to bite, thank heavens!
I have a chick in the bator that is a real pecker--and I mean that in the literal sense! It seems to be bent on pecking everything in site. I had one pip and get a quite a large hole in it trying to get out. The pecking chick has pecked through the hole and I think killed it! Weird!!!!!!
