It’s a mystery! But my Sissy had very similar marbling and look just a bit more brown toned. This is her (closest to camera) at 10 months old or so.

This is my Henrietta who is currently at a new farm and she is gonna be bred with a Speckled Sussex I can't wait to see the babies! Sorry there are no good pictures. next time i go see her i'll have to take more.
