The EE braggers thread!!!

Wow, you got lucky getting all blue layers and 1 green layer from EEs. Most folks get a mix of green and brown layers. Which chicks were you the happiest with? I want to order some EEs and would like to know which hatchery birds you were happiest with.

I got them at purina mills in Springfield Tn. three different times so they came from all three different hatcheries. My dark one layes the double yolk some times and is the sweetest. I would say get them as soon as you can in the spring, later ones still have not layed yet but I'm sure they will. Some day.

I really dont know the hatchery they came from. When the feed store has them you can pick the ones you want if you first.

I was out doing chores today, and one of my EE decided to help me!
She is always the one to jump up to the highest points. To this day, she is the only one that has been on top of the coop ... on the roof! Silly girl!

the thing that gets me is that the EEs have soo much personality its just not even funny there are passive one assertive ones then there are the ones that are just people birds and they are under your feet trying to "help" its really funny hopefully i get a few new hens and ill post pix

So pretty. She looks like my Ginseng, who is also a very friendly bird who lays a nice greenish-blue egg.
