The EE braggers thread!!!

I picked up three chicks (EEs) from the local feed store and one of them looks like a barred rock and has a yellow spot on its head...does the spot designate that it's a cockeral? They are only about one week old now.

Nope. Could be either girl or guy. I hatched out five chicks who's hen was a pure blue wheaten Ameraucana banty and the father was a pure banty barred rock. All five of them had the spot on the head and only two of them turned out to be roos. All of them look just like barred rocks except for one of the roos who looks like a blue barred rock.

The big red one in the front is my fave girl, Hansel. She is a RIR x EE cross.

Thank you!!! Fingers crossed, toes crossed, legs crossed, eyes crossed that 4 out of 5 silvers are girls! This is my first time raising chickens and I am so excited to see them all growed up

Can their colour change drastically between now and adulthood or will they definitely have a white base?

If you look on the first page of this thread about halfway down ariel310's silver/white is my guess what yours will look like. just a guess, but I've seen a lot like yours go that direction
