I saw her chicken awhile ago actually and crossed my fingers I might get a girl that looks like that. Awesome! I would really love some blues though. Hmm!!

This guy looks a lot like the Araucanas over in Australia and New Zealand. Where'd he come from? He's cool.
He came from the roo and hen in the first pic of my post. I'm very interested to see what he looks like, but unfortunately he wont be staying, I am keeping my rooster since I hear bad things about brother to sister breedings. Thanks for the compliment

You still tease me with those silver pullets.
Anyway, I've had two EE's for too long without posting in this thread. . . Here's my roo, Marc Antony:
And here's my hen, Tufted. She got the name from back when I thought Murray McMurray actually sold Araucanas, and it looked to me like she was getting tufts. . . So her nickname became her name. Of course, her breed name did not stick.
My REAL Araucanas are due to arrive in 13 days though!!
Tufted was the freakiest, most skittish and flighty pullet I ever had - She was really beginning to annoy me. Finally, after she started laying (brown eggs. . .
) she calmed right down. Marc Antony has curl toe paralysis, so he's always had difficulties doing the deed, and thus makes him kinda rough on the girls after he falls over their faces. Otherwise, he's a real sweety! Yesterday I found him tidying up a nest, then laying in it, then after a minute he got up, stood outside the nest, and started cackling like a hen! Sooo funny!!
I just love this thread, so many beautiful birds!! I just got my first two EEs, Celia and Charlotte, such little characters and are feathering out so much more quickly than a lot of my other chicks!
Celia
Charlotte
..and just for fun, Gangsta Charlotte! I'm a chick! Wha! Wha!
I guess I should officially join the club. In january, I purchased some EE eggs from upintheholler. She sent 17 .. I got 12 or 13 hatched (I hatched with some others, so lost count) .. Here is one of my babies .. yesterday, at 5 weeks!
