The EE braggers thread!!!

SteveH: I now have three EE's laying and 1 of them is just about the color shell as yours. The other two are just a shade darker than the minty green one. Now only 6 more EE's to go and all of them will be laying.

I only have two more EE pullets to start laying [ unless one is laying a tan egg , its a mixed pen ] , but then there's 6 Ameraucana coming up that are over a month younger .
I'm not sure what color " minty green " is , nor if " darker " means more olive or what ; so my education would helped greatly by a pic of all

oops- just getting back here- nope, as far as I know, she's a SHE. Here's another picture of her. She is now about 20-22 weeks, and starting to squat. Unlike her flock siblings, who are doing nothing. hehehe

This may have been asked somewhere else, but I can't find an answer:

Is there a "typical" cross for EEs? Is it the hen or rooster that's pure? What "other" chicken is typically mixed in?
How dilute are the hatchery EEs? Meaning, how far away from a pure Araucana? How many generations away from the pure parents can you go, to still have a good chance at colored eggs.

Some EEs- like mine- look like Welsummers.

Then some of your's out there are really splashy and have lots of colors mixed in.

Does anyone know?

Wow, he's really handsome. I'm very jealous; all my BCM/Ameraucana cross roosters are UGLY. How'd your guy turn out so stunning? I'd love to see the hen who created this guy.
