Heavens no, don't worry about her, she will lay when she's old enough. I have a true Araucana pullet that didn't lay till she was over a year old, she was in a coop, the only colored egger and no place to hide and egg so I knew when she laid her first, plus the first one's were large, long odd shaped for the first couple so she had been straining to get it out, a sure way to know it was her too. Now they are normal eggs and she is laying routinely.
The youngest I've had a pullet lay an egg was 4+ months old and it was a Serama, they are known for maturing early.

Thanks. I will wait for her. She is a beautiful hen. Her sister has been laying for a while. Pastel green eggs. She is larger than her sister, and she was the cutest chick I have ever seen. Now she is the prettiest, and nicest mannered hen! She has very nice form and color.

Here are a few of the pics I took today, the girls (at least that is what they are suppose to be) are 5wks old.

This is sola, she was one of 3 all yellow chicks, and the only one that is still white

I think she looks like a falcon in this shot.

Kassaundra, they are all beautiful. I myself have 8 EE pullets, only three of them are laying, they jsut turned 6 months on the 15th of September. I'm trying to get some good pictures of mine to get posted maybe one day I'll get that done.
