Im not quite sure? My friend let them out for me cause i was out babysitting, and then i cam home to an empty coop and started searching cooing "here chick chick chikies" and then i hear it.. "buck buck buck buck BUCK" LOL! Found you.. tag ur it! haha just kidding.. read story here:

I posted my chicky pictures and all everybody did was to argue about somefin else, Nobody said nuffin about my chicky's.

I may have to go over and scare the newbies just to make myself feel better!!!

Hah, well, I don't really care what the technical term is.

If you could tell me that she'd be "purplish-green" or "gray-brown" I would be happy... THAT is what I mean by color... i.e., what color is a Buff Orpington? Pale-tan-to-coppery. LOL


Coyote-- I LOVE the last pic... of the blue one with copper flashes in some of the feathers. I would SO LOVE IT if my little brown lump turned out like that!

Thanks ya'll!!! I'm not someone that really cares about bloodlines. I just want some pretty eggs. My Daddy loved the large to xlarge eggs the sexlinks laid. I'm going to pick up a few of those for when he comes to visit. If we get a few boys out of this, we'll just spread them out amongst the girls. I only have a half acre lot. I've got a big coop that needs to be fixed up and 2 smaller ones that need to be put back together.

But I'm really thinking about buildin some Garden Ark type tractors to help with my gardens. Sturdy enough to be moved around. I've got some 4ft chain link that will be lined with hardware cloth to keep them safe.

I hope the weather holds out a few more days!!!

Sounds like fun! I wanna build tomorrow.. but i have no supplies.. or adults to help! haha.
