I wanted to stop by and say hello to everyone and share pictures of my EE pullets, I can't wait to see their coloured eggs, we have a ways to go yet since they are only 1 month old

sharol: thank you, we just picked them up as pullets, I did post on the ameraucanas thread to clarify what my girls are and they are EE's and I love them. The only thing is they are so flighty we can't handle them at all unless it is roost time and they are too sleepy to put up a fight.

They are beautiful! I love those colors, like a fall sunset!

Are you sure they're not older than a month? Mine are close to 5 weeks old, and they are not NEAR that feathered out! Just curious if that was a typo!

Velvet Hairpiece: someone else asked the same thing on another board, the lady who sold them to us told us they were a month old but I told DH I thought they were older than that, especially comparing them to others at that age, so I am at a loss on how old they are, when they start laying it is around 20 weeks, is that correct? if so when I notice them laying then I can gauge their age by that, hopefully

And thank you I do love their color pattern:)
