The EE braggers thread!!!

I believe you are right, when I read some of the issues others have or are dealing w/ I realize what an easy time of it I've had w/ the exception of my little weiner dog's love of fresh chicken.

So, do you think I get bragging rights with this chick? If her momma is an EE, does that make her an EE too?

Yep, it's an EE.

B/W one does look like it might one day start exercising his crowing ability! Really some pretty chicks you have. Here in the country everyone is so use to my roo's crowing( four of them) that morning would not be the same without it. Also none of my roo's have ever shown any aggression towards people. So sorry for those that can't keep roo's because of neighbors, some of which are allowed to keep dogs that are constantly barking! Charlie

My EE's are 13 wks old

Here they are enjoying their new hen house we built them, they moved in before I can add the deep litter, silly chickens.

Buckeye and Hawkeye

Buckeye is the most friendliest of the two, she will come right up to you and talk up a storm, Hawkeye is friendly but very shy

If the roo is dominant white, the offspring will be white. If he is recessive white, they should be blue.

I do agree; however, my experience is that the phenotypes of all three [recessive white, dominate white, or blue splash] can mask genotypes that are quite different from those you will find on the chicken color calculator { http://kippenjungle.nl/Overzicht.htm#kipcalculator }. I've seen some quite unexpected colors and patterns occur from such matings. Also, a visually pure white can be carrying both dominate white and recessive white........................ as well as Silver [which is also white]............................ unless you're well acquainted with the past several generations of your birds, its really not all that predictable what color that cross will produce.
