I'm about to place an order for Easter Eggers from a hatchery.

No feedstore bins here so it will have to be by mail from Ideal, Martis Poultry, Meyers, Purely Poultry, or Cackle. Welp won't ship to Alaska except CornishX..

There are so many pretty Easter Eggers posted on this thread. I wish people would also add which hatchery they got theirs from - so I can have some idea of the range of looks from which hatchery. to help me choose which hatchery.

Also which ones lay large to extralarge eggs would be nice. Thanks.

She appears to be developing some lacing. I was just wondering about that myself today. Here are a couple of other pictures of her/him.

I'm questioning gender, but who knows. This chick has always been different from the others in temperment.

They have actual photos of their flock on their site, and I got about a 50% mix of males and females........................... for some reason straight run seems to mean 70% males and 30% females at some hatcheries that offer a choice of pullets or straight run.

ETA: My hens from them laid as well as or better than my Ameraucanas, and were bigger in egg size. One laid a true blue egg, though it was the smallest, and one of the green egg layers laid 5 to 6 jumbo per week.

I didn't get the kind of colors your birds have.................... they were mostly like the two in the rear of the second pic, but there was a silver mixed roo.
