The EE braggers thread!!!

My EE pullet Blue (I know, how original) just laid her first egg, a pretty medium green with brown speckles! I love my EEs. The blue egg next to it is either from one of my other 2 EEs or one of my 2 Ameraucanas, I should know for sure later today.

I wish I had several just like her.

Since my only large rooster is a White Ameraucana I am looking forward to some neat EEs next spring. It sure would be nice if I had a broody hen then. WoW that would be super with my roo over 1 Welsummer, 1 SL Wyandotte, 1 Gold Speckled Hamburg, ! NN, 1 Blue Marans, ! golden EE, 1 Cream Brabanter and 2 White ams. I do think that I remembered everyone.

Haha I went and took them, but they didn't take because it's already dark AND the red light was washing out the camera, so I will have to get pics tomorrow.

I've got 14 EE chicks too, from two hatchings six days apart. The eggs are all from Kaneke's birds.

Pretty sure this is an EE from Bargain. I will be able to tell as it gets older. Otherwise it is a Wheaten Ameraucana x Wyandotte.
