love all you guy's birds!!! Beautiful. Here's my main man in his new flannel (He's the main man, so he's the only one with red for safety's sake!) My girls each got one so they wouldn't be damaged while they were cooped up. I thought it would be cute cause i'm from michigan, and we LIVE in flannels around here...
fuzzybutt love I have a question about your apron. I made several for my hens and they wore them well for a long time but eventually they were able to send them off kilter.
So besides having an elastic around the wings is there any type of fastener around the main body of the bird ? Your rooster's apron looks so nice and snug.

Jojo is so pretty! I have an EE crossed with my late Light Brahma Roo (RIP Honeycomb) and you would never even know she was an EE until you see her very pretty pale green eggs. Her Mom Andy is colored very much like a LB The only thing that might lead you to believe she (daughter) was an EE was her pea comb. Can't wait to see what your chickies look like!

Thank you
I know I open up the coop door hoping that I'll see a green or blue egg laying there but not yet
lol so hard being patient. But I haven't seen my rooster helping the ladies yet but he might when I don't see lol hahahaa.. I have two that look like her one has a darker grayer head and her feathers on her back have a rust color and so does the other hen. And then I have one that's black but she's got the goldish yellow feathers along her neck and the rest of her body.. Can't wait either to see what their gonna look like
Hi all. Hope you don't mind my jumping in here with a photo of one of my Easter Egger hens and the Silver Ameraucana cockerel that she spends her days with. I think they are such a stunning couple! Too bad they won't breed true to feather color!
bantiehen - I'm right there with you, TRYING to be patient waiting for eggs from some girls. I have one easter egger pullet who has been making nests in boxes for about two weeks now. I'm going crazy waiting for her to just lay an egg already. I have high hopes for egg color out of this years pullets.
