The EE braggers thread!!!

I can tell almost immediately if one of my EE chicks is going to have a regular straight comb. However, I can not tell if it is going to have a pea comb verses a tiny modified straight comb.

I would really love to hatch eggs! It would be soo exciting.
Too expensive for us though

try googling the kippenger chicken calculator. somewhere out there is an english version, that you can put in the pattern of the mother and father, and vice versa, and it will tell you! You have to know what the pattern is, so it's not worth much for my mutts, lol.

I put my backyard mix EE eggs in lockdown today! What an idea to take eggs from your own back yard that were laid by your hen, fertilized by your own rooster and put them in an incubator and HATCH them!! What an amazing idea! Why isn't everyone doing this?? lol I joke of course.
I have incubated many many eggs, all shipped, never before tried to hatch my own. I could be in trouble now!!!
