The EE braggers thread!!!

Pretty! The 3rd last one is a boy. Black/white/little bit of brown colored chicks, once feathered out like that, are boys if the markings are very contrasted and bold. Girls if they're more smudgy and partridge/penciled like. Plus the comb is pretty developed.

I hatched out a few adorable EE's this Easter, one of them a very neat caramel orange color with white belly and neck and some black splotches on the back. Most of the others were blue, black, or brown. No mottled ones this time.

Thanks - I was thinking it was a boy too...I think I have 4 boys and 4 girls. What about the one second to last (and the same bird is in the last photo) - similar color but no comb developing, can it be a girl or is it just a really slow maturing boy?

Most of my EE chicks look the same now, like this one. They were very varied as day old chicks. Now they are 4 weeks and look like this one. They are starting to grow the ear muff feathers. The only difference is the shade of brown. All of their wings look identical right now.

I finally got a pic of my EE flock, they all look so different

My favorite is my boy Edgar, he has such personality and loves to fly up on my arm for a pet. They just got moved into their new coop today, so they were very happy!

Edgar is in front, the white/black/red patchy one. Then from Left to Right is Kona, Mocha, Latte, Mystery, and Cafe. Can you tell I like coffee

HEY EE eggperts!!!!! Wondering what sex you think my babies are. Mom is a EE and Dad a BlueJG. Oh Oh Oh they are 5 1/2 weeks old
in this pic I think Girl Boy Girl starting front to back. U?

What about this one?

I love my EE girl (hate my BlueJG Roo he hate me also) but he's good to my girls and I really want so cool chicken like LUCY the mom
COOLEST and sweetest chicken ever and follows me everywhere and even thinks she can come into the house when ever she wants..Spoiled!!

My babies hatched on saturday, they were part of the Easter Hatch-along! :) I had 3 EE over EE Chicks but only one of them is dark with the biggest cheeks muffs! :) I will update the pics of the others as soon as I figure out which ones are the EE over EE and the EE over Speckled sussex chicks! They look a lot alike except some are brownish chipmunks, eyeliner & pink feet and some are whitish chipmunks with Purplish feet. I watched the 3 hatch out of My EE gals green eggs but i didn't sit by the bator to watch them dry. They all have the same daddy so even the speck crosses are EE's. I will get pictures of all and post all babies from this hatch as they all have an EE Daddy if everybody doesn't mind?
But for now here is the chocolate colored EE Chick!

And my first boy out of my EE over barred Rock chicks, 1 boy out of 9 sex-link chicks.
