Really not sure what color one would call her. She has changed color often as she has grown. she went from light gold to white to white with pale gold lacing and gray head. the gold has gotten darker and more of it and the gray head has faded to hints of gray as she has matured. I love her beard and she is every bit as solf and fluffy as my orp. That is a rose comb? Thans for letting me share. :
Probably a pea comb. My wheaten Am pullets don't really have any thing there much. Rose combs are bigger at that age. Here is a Splash Laced Red pullet. Rose combs are wide and flat and come to a point in the back and will have bumps all over sometimes. Pea combs are.... well different. I find them different in each pen really. My EE can have wild hybrid combs. My wheaten hens... very little shape to the comb. Most have a ridges that run from the front to the back. Roos typically have 3 ridges.
