The EE braggers thread!!!

I have an interesting EE..... anyone have one that looked like this one? I am thinking it is a roo, starting to get a red comb. The edging is BROWN.... very light brown. Very similar in color to my Choc Orp in the pen with him.

I think I will keep it for a while and see what he grows out to look like.

There are some beautiful beards and cheeks to admire. I don't think my new chick has muffs or a beard. Or the feathered feet I was so hoping for. Someone else mentioned wanting to make an EE with feathered feet, beard and muffs...I was thinking that same thing and how cool that would be.
anywhere near central fl? i have a lovely ee cockerel with feathered feet and beard. i hatched him myself and he has nice temperament, imo. i already have a wheaten ameraucana rooster & a hatchmate black ameraucana cockerel that i want to keep.

TAMMACLEAN could you post close up pictures of Jules comb from several angles. You know top and side and top front also. It might help determine what breeds might be part of his background. ty

I agree that this bird will be interesting to watch grow develop and change. Should be pretty as he is now.

I have another EE who laid her first egg at 22 weeks old. I was wanting a blue or green egg soooo bad, but she was one of those few who laid a pinkish egg....Oh well, I have since gone and gotten me another 5 week old EE and 2 - 2 week old Ameraucanas so that in the spring I will be sure to get blue eggs.. in the meantime, I hope this 31 week old EE will lay a pretty color egg for me soon!!!

Im right there with the 2 of you.... My last EE still isnt laying and she will 32 weeks tomorrow. My other 2 started roughly I think 23 and 26 weeks old. One green layer and one Blue layer Im hoping my last one lays blue also
