Pretty girls you have.

Some, kind of updated pics of Pearl and Opal. I posted chick pics a few months ago and these pics are about a month old. I am home sick today and am doing all of those things I keep wishing I had time for, lol.

Pearl...I am calling her color Splash Wheaten (She has kind of wheaten coloring and random black feathers, more now than in these pics)

Opal. I just call her color Pretty.

Pearl, I posted this pic because you can kind of see the splash feathers. The one in the center of her back is one of the half and half feathers. She now has them all over her neck and some in her tail and wings. The older she gets the more of these random black feathers she gets.

Opal being sassy.

I took these pics with the intention of posting them right away. I get too busy for my own good sometimes.

Would anyone herelike some EE/Wyandotte eggs from my Buff laced birds? I got them all packaged to send but the buyer changed the date. I'm only asking for shipping costs($10) but if you want you can add whatever for the eggs.

They're olive green to light olivey. both parents are rose combed and buff laced.

Bleenie, I have a question for you. I got an EE the other day. She is feathering out like a wyandotte...black feathers with a gold/brown vein and gold around the neck. She has muffs and very dark slate/blue legs. She looks like she will have a rose comb. Do you think my bird may be an EE/Wyandotte bird and will have olive green eggs?

Well my Wonderful EE's threw me a curve ball today!!!
Here's the parents and this is one of their babies

and the baby was this

A Blonde Baby!!!! Crazy EE's Love them!!!

Quote: Yellow chicks usually do. Wheatens are yellow and feather in a different color.... I didn't think of that... your roo looks kinda wheaten, maybe your hens are carrying wheaten... maybe that is what you have a wheaten color EE. Let us know in a few weeks. You can see the color coming in then.
