The Evolution of Atlas: A Breeding (and Chat) Thread

Okay, finally caught up with "mad skimming". I don't think I got every word, but I did get the gist of everything.

@speckledhen and @oldhenlikesdogs and I have had the conversation before about the rudeness on byc. I haven't been on many threads lately so I don't see much of it. Used to be 1 particular person had the corner on the crop but I don't think they're around anymore. Perhaps where there's a void, someone else steps in?

I was wondering where you were. I wanted to let you know the blueberries I planted in containers last year have survived just fine as I hoped they would. I hope now they will give me a good crop.

The world will never run out of rudeness? :hmm

Yay for the Blueberries!!!

I want to do that with ours, but my husband keeps thinking it's crazy when we have 6 acres we could plant them on.

I'm thinking easy...and close.
I'm looking forward to sitting in a chair and picking berries. I used to have them in the ground but it became difficult to pick them for me. I think this is gonna be much better. The bushes are also in an area that it's easy to water them. Something that I couldn't do easily where we had them before. No real weeding necessary either in pots either. :yesss:

They say, necessity is the mother of invention. That may be true, but old age is the mother of creativity. We have to do things creatively to accommodate our assorted handicaps, lack of agility, lack of strength, lack of energy, and an assortment of aches, and pains. Glad you got your blueberries set up in a way you can enjoy them.

The older I get the more inventive I get. It's either adapt or give up, and so far I'm not giving up, most days. :) Some days staying in bed seems like the better option.

What a difference in your son. :clap

People don't understand hair lose until they experience it. It's good to find support and help on wigs. :) When I was bald during chemo I tried one but it didn't work out for me. If I had stayed bald I would of definitely found one that was better.

All that crap wasn't supposed to copy! It was unrelated stuff on Facebook! Sorry! I deleted it.
