I'm not on Facebook, but I have posted roosters via BFs page on the local sale sites, I guess my understanding was that livestock was different

First big glitch with Walmart grocery pickup. They left out two large packages of boneless, skinless chicken breasts, just not in there, to a tune of $23+. So, had to call them and they said they'd credit us, but we wanted the chicken. Guess better luck next time, and next time, I'll do what I was going to do this time and didn't-print the list and check them off as we put them away. I don't really want someone else shopping for me, but until now, it's been okay. It sure cuts down on impulse purchases!

Finally a nice sunny day, 61 degrees, warmest it's been since last October.

Got the tractor out and hauled three scoops of two-year-old scrapings from the horse pen that I had piled up year before last down near the garden. Screened four wheelbarrows full, and spread it at one end of the garden, then covered it with plastic. Hopefully the many seeds in it will sprout and die so that I can use it as top dressing in the rest of the garden when I plant it in another month. A lot of work, but I had lots of help

speckledhen, Sometimes they have it in stock when you make the order, then run out when it comes time to fill the order. They run out of various meats, on various days, at various times.

There are a couple local meat markets, that are not overly priced on their basic meats, and they're staying well stocked. They do the senior-high risk hour in the mornings, so it's not too bad.

They still show it as being in my order, as being put in there and they did charge me for it. We had to call them. So, still waiting on a credit. I really hate giving up control to someone else, definitely not in my nature in any part of my life. May have to suit up in hazmat gear and brave the world eventually.

Dh ordered fans from Home Depot, went and got them, then when he got home, found out they were the wrong fans. He had to go back to get the right ones. The stores have not got the kinks ironed out with the "pick up, and curbside" stuff.

We hadn't received an email that said they credited us so I called today. It had not been done, but the guy on the phone got it fixed and finally, the email came through saying they credited us for those two packs of chicken. I'm leery of that now, will check larger ticket items sooner. I figured they had a handheld tablet thing that they scanned off items with, but how those fell through the cracks, I don't know. Also, I had two Great Value whipped cream cans, the large ones, on the list. They said they substituted four smaller ones, but the two large ones were in the order so not sure what happened there, but nothing else was left out other than items that were actually no longer available and were removed from the list.

I'm thinking about replacing most of our livestock fencing, which is mostly the 4' height, with 5' woven horse fencing and better/taller posts. That is much more expensive, $189/100ft whereas the livestock fencing we had was about that same price for a 330 ft roll. I'd love the 6' option, but that is another $80 per 100 ft, not sure I can afford to do that all the way around. As it is, will have to buy the fencing in increments, then maybe get someone to do the labor to install some of that. Would you just remove all the livestock fencing or put the taller horse fencing on the outside on its own posts, thereby making sort of a double layer? Much of it is crushed, but not terribly so.

I'd use the taller no-climb horse fence on the outside. That stops anything/anyone from climbing over, whereas, the livestock fence might be used to get a foothold, and climb up over the taller fence. That's just me. When you get all your posts, see about someone with a tractor, that has the auger attachment. It's super fast, and easy that way. Maybe someone that lives close by can do it for you very reasonable. 5 ft. tall should be enough. You can always add a hotwire later on, as money permits.

Definitely would put the taller stuff on the outside, but I can't hotwire this 2 acre perimeter. It goes through the woods and would be grounded out constantly. No way we could keep up with the clearing necessary, though I'd love a hotwire.

Now I could say "wow you surely worked hard all day", But I won't. I will say OMG You got a Tractor!!!!!! How cool is that!
