I did it more to relax than to actually eat. Tom ate a big piece with ice cold strawberries and bananas topped with whipped cream. I ate a tiny sliver, but I can't eat many baked goods anymore. Doesn't sit well on my stomach. I can't do keto. Used to lose weight on Atkins and before that, Dr. Stillwell, the Atkins precursor guy, back in my 20's and 30's, but after my thyroid malfunctioned, it doesn't even work for me and I hate eating mostly protein anyway. My inclination if I have only protein to eat is just not to eat at all. I start to gag, LOL.

It came out of the pan fine. I opted not to glaze it. Enough sugar, LOL.View attachment 2177761
Looks beautiful! My blood sugar is creeping up so I want to get it back to normal.

Some companies lose customers before they even get them....case in point, iHerb. I wanted to purchase from them. I saw no way to do that without giving them a mobile number. I DO NOT do that. I have a TracPhone for emergencies and communication between my husband and myself ONLY and I do not give out that number. The phone is always off and in my purse when we are at home together. I make calls on it...PERIOD. So, I contacted them by email to ask if there was a way to purchase without a mobile number.
Their answer:
Dear Cynthia,
Thank you for choosing iHerb.com. We apologize for any inconvenience that this has caused you.
Unfortunately, you need a mobile number upon ordering on our website. You can use the mobile number of your family member instead.
Please let us know if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Jerry
The iHerb Team

Soooo, my answer back to them:

I'm sorry, too, because I won't be ordering from your company. I would not inconvenience a family member, but it is a moot point because my husband and I live alone with no relatives nearby. Too bad, but you really need to realize that not everyone lives their lives on a pocket device.
