Well, the latch is actually a rod run through the door and door frame. I guess I didn't get it through the hole in the frame good.

Hey, is anyone else's Google account messed up today? I can't get into mine, says my email can't be found. Then, when I try the recover thing, it wants me to type letters, which never works even when I type them correctly, keeps giving me a new set to type, and if you click on the speaker so it can tell you what those wonky letters are, it sounds like gobbledegook. I can't get into my YouTube channels today without it , of course.
ETA: Apparently, accounts are down. YT is up, but no accounts nor the help screen can be accessed. Hmm, YT recently was completely down. I hate their extreme censorship this year, so anything that happens there is suspicious to me.

I would be more likely to suspect that it was either security-related (lots of trolls right now with nothing on their hands to do other than ruin other people's business), upgrade related, or an internal issue with servers. Or one of the other billion things that can go wrong with computers

Yeah, I'm sure it's something normal, though YT has been anything but normal lately, LOL. It's frustrating that it happens on a day when I plan to do an upload, though. Plus, we had a hours-long power outage to start the day as well. Grrrrrr!

Ever heard of the purple paint law? I never had until a channel subscriber mentioned it to me and found it's been a thing in GA since 2017. Now, my only question is: how would everyone know that's what the purple paint meant if they saw it, other than, hey all these fence posts/trees in a line have purple paint? I know learned about it awhile back on FB. I've never seen it used, but to the best of my knowledge, you have to use the signs here.

I have to agree with you on that point, yikes. I definitely would not want that on the more visible areas of my property. Maybe a purple dot at certain less visible lot lines, but not painted that way, gross!

It got to about 10* last night after snow yesterday and windy conditions. Georgie is looking bad, all black-purple, no meat on her usually big keel, bloaty. She is on her way out and the stress from the cold will hurry that along. The barn is about 15* warmer than outside. She has a reptile bulb over the coke crate that she and June snuggle in (with Emily beside them) as well as a 250W red heat lamp over the main area of their pen because I can't bear the thought of her shivering so badly in this frigid weather in her condition.
