Things need to be on that list, size, shape, brand, or else you never know what you will get, in your case you got nothing. Sometimes I get one of everything, because he didn't know which one to pick. I've learned to smile and say thank you over the years. At least yours is canning his own meat, some husbands would expect the wife to do it.

He's a keeper, but it wasn't me who wanted the cable, it was him. He got most everything on the list, except my salad croutons. He looked on one of the end displays near the lettuce, but said other stuff was there. He never thought to look elsewhere, just where I got it the last time. Some stuff, the way the thoughts process, must be a male thing.
I mean no disrespect to any males, but I have found men and dogs think alike, and are easily distracted.
