Wow. Our weather forecast temperature numbers are almost identical except the cold gets here tonight instead of tomorrow night.

It has been beautiful for the past couple days, but it's going to get cold again.

If we decide to put up a storage building, we'll have to think about where to move this, maybe inside the barn pen would be good, though we'd have to take down fencing to do it, I'm afraid. Will have to think on that a bit. Thanks for the photos! I'll show Tom. I'm taking him out to eat. He's been antsy and a little down lately so I think one of his favorite Philly Cheese Steaks will perk him right up.

We had to take out one section of the fence to place it where we wanted it too. Then replaced just that section.

Same here. I'm wishing it was back to the 30's, it felt so warm. There are negative teen nights ahead here again.

I posted it on my thread in Hobbies, but in case you didn't see it, here are two quilts I'm working on now, two Carpenter's Wheel medallion quilts.
The center block and the surrounding blocks in the softer colored one are just laid out on top of my bed. The dark gold border around the star in the first photo is actually underneath on the second Carpenter's Wheel block (waiting on a green fabric to arrive to put a border on the one in the softer colors, but this lets me know how large it's turning out to be)

Oh, there are mistakes in there. No matter how precise you think you're cutting or piecing, something always comes out a tad off. But, overall, I'm pleased with them. I didn't mean to make two quilts. I did the bottom center first and made the surrounding blocks on the top one, but they didn't go right. So, I made a second large star block (Carpenter's Wheel, it's called) that matched those blocks better and so, voila, two quilts in progress. Seems a fitting endeavor for the upcoming frigid weather, right?

Beautiful quilts

Our weather is still in the 40s, it’s been rainy off and on for a few days but should clear up now and be sunny and 40s still for the next week. Not even supposed to get below freezing most nights, which I like because then I don’t have to bring the chickens and rabbits waterers in the garage.

I’m hiding in my closet eating Oreos because the kids are getting on my nerves lol. But I need to go make them dinner soon.
