I think she sees what she wants to see, lol.LOL. You think she might be dyslexic ?
This, yup. She certainly has some unworldly tune playing in her head. She expects me to hand feed her scratch. I can throw it and they'll all jump off the outside bar, except Lucy. She paces back and forth, looking at me. Sometimes, she just forgoes her treat entirely rather than eat like a chicken. Sometimes, she begrudgingly jumps down when all the tidbits are about gone. Silly hen, but she is my Lucy Goosey. I couldn't bear to part with her. Aubrey tried to buy her off me for some breeding project because she has 1/2 height legs (what breed bantam has stumpy legs? Can't recall, maybe Ohiki?) but I said, "Part with Wrong Way Lucy?? Perish the thought!". Ladyhawk carries her around like a shoulder bag and tries to get me to part with her every time she comes to visit. Nope, not even for my BFF.I think she dances to the beat of a different drummer. She is an original , not a copy of anything. Good for Lucy.
Thanks, Karen. He was the only grandchild I'll ever have though I didn't see him much. He sure was a loved dog.Losing a child or a beloved pet-it just never ever gets easier. So sorry about the dog.![]()
Yes, it will. It's just the first time he's had to shoulder the entire responsibility for this. That is so hard.Time will help them remember their friendship without the burden of sorrow.
The poor old dog was more than ready to go, but Michael wasn't ready until the other day. It takes us longer to accept that they are just alive because their sweet old hearts keep beating. So sorry about the passing of your son's beloved dog. Bless his heart, those comments he posted were heartbreaking. Valek was very fortunate to have lived such a long life filled with so much love.
On a happier note, thanks for new Atlas/Deacon babies pics. I am just so amazed at healthy and robust they are. Those sturdy little legs make me smile every time.![]()
