The Evolution of Atlas: A Breeding (and Chat) Thread

What a handsome guy :)

Unfortunately birds that appear completely healthy can carry and pass on worms to other birds. Birds with subclinical parasite loads can be more susceptable to weather stresses and diseases.

Finally, geez. Took two tries. The shaky fix on youtube actually ruined the video so I had to upload it all over again, took another three hours.

This is about the Brahmas, but I am linking it for Hector's two photo bombs. You can even hear him grumbling when he isn't on camera, LOL.

What a nice video of your young birds. And of course, The Hector. I love your voice!

I was thinking the same thing, that I love your voice!

Y'all are nuts. I hate my voice. It's one thing I had to overcome to do these videos. But, what do you think about Hector, all up in my business? He was on the pile of gravel right at my knees the entire time and you can hear him even when you can't see him. What a goof! He's in serious danger of becoming a pet here if he keeps this up. But, oh my, he hates Apollo. He made him fly over my head in the barn going after him. If Apollo ever grows a pair and turns to fight, it will be a bloody one because I do not see Hector backing down.

Just something for you to laugh about, Korean pizza. This is an excerpt from an article about the strange nature of Korean "pizza", with photo following of a celebration pizza my son's friend took him out for after his acceptance to Trinity College:

And I said we just had a 16" bacon pizza for $3.33 from Walmart. His reply was:

Quote:
If you like corn and mayonnaise on your sweet potato pizza, there's a place called pizza school where I can get a 12" for $6. That's probably the cheapest pizza in Korea.

Yeah, but who'd want it????

Yes, CONGRATULATIONS!

Thanks. I hope he does well. He saved his $$ for years to do something like this and it may take all of it, but hopefully, it will pay off in various ways for him. He graduated college quite awhile ago so didn't know if that would count against him, but apparently not. So, as soon as his contract to teach is up in Seoul in August, he'll head to Ireland.
