No pips yet. Day 20. Brooder ready for occupancy. I doubt all 22 remaining eggs will hatch, but I hope most do. I may sell half of the Brahmas right away if someone wants those, just so I don't have so many to brood. I have several on the chicken swap page on FB waiting for them. One guy said he didn't mind straight run so he may jump in and buy a few chicks, if enough hatch to halve the batch, that is. I need to keep Hector's kids to pick out a pullet or two, if I get a couple of those. I wish there would be more pullets than cockerels in there, certainly, easier to sell extras, but Hector needs to have a couple more hens. Two is not enough. He rarely even breeds Thea, which is odd.
