Okay, this is weird.

Today, from Ancestry, who sent me my results on May 13.

Due to high demand, our lab is a little behind schedule. But rest assured—your DNA kit has been received, we are working diligently to deliver your results, and we will send you an email once processing begins. Thank you for your patience!

Lab processing is taking a bit longer than usual

I replied, told them I had my results a week ago and asked if they sent me the correct results, as in mine and not someone else's.

Did they ever respond? I bet it was just an auto message to anyone who ordered during a certain time period that they had delays in.

It was 98 degrees here today with high humidity. I think the south needs to take back their weather please.

Yes, it's awful. I bet I have to fight coccidiosis with the chicks because of all this wet.

No way! At least at my elevation, we don't get that high in temperature and the nights cool down a lot. That's why I love my mountains. You would not catch me in the flatlands of Florida or, egads, Louisiana!

The heat hasn't been too bad here yet. We've been getting nice afternoon showers, not too heavy, and it cools everything down nicely.

I spent the weekend with my sister's packing things up from my mom's house and cleaning up the yard, and it was in the low-90s and humid each day. I'm just not used to that kind of heat, it seldom gets up into the 90s here and never in May. Our highs lately have been in the upper 60s to maybe some low 70s, so a big change. Thank goodness the house had air conditioning.
