Yes, the first generations of anything New are going to show flaws, you have to breed out to get the color/comb/pattern/whatever you are looking for, so there's going to be some cleanup for a while.

Welcome to our Atlas thread, @I Love Layers! Beautiful Cochins! I've never had any LF Cochins, only two bantam feed store birds, my lavender hen, Shadow, and my black rooster, Xander, though those two never met. Xander came along after Shadow was gone and he always lived with the big Orpington hens. I just said this morning to my husband how much I missed our little Munchkin Dictator! He kept the young cockerels from my LF pens in line like a general!

I love cochins, yours are gorgeous. Mine are all hatchery birds. I love big and little fluffy birds.

I was just working on this lap quilt and a Facebook friend already said if it's not taken, she wants it. I haven't even finished piecing it yet. She doesn't have chickens, but she loves roosters, lives in Massachusetts.
