The Evolution of Atlas: A Breeding (and Chat) Thread

Thanks. I remember you had a lot of trouble with that over the years. I also remember your necropsies and draining.
Is there a difference between a large hard rock belly and a water balloon-feeling belly?

Not that you'd be able to tell from the outside. There could be huge cheesy masses inside or more fluid or so much fluid that the belly is very hard, etc. Can't really say by how it feels.

My daughter who spent 11 years of rolling her eyes at me and not listening to my chicken escapades has a favorite chicken. She swears the chicken loves her. She even ignores a little poo on her clothes. She's been fussing with 2 silkie roos and a silkie hen who are not crazy about being picked up and she holds on to them for a while thinking they will change their mind. My Polish Olivia keeps pecking at her legs to be picked up. We have been sitting in the grass and letting my BR and Houdan youngsters climb all over us. Never thought I'd see this stuff with my DD!

Sorry about your hen. But I agree with Cyn.

You are very unlikely to be able to get rid of the easement, since it is written into your title. Likely the farm sold off that property and kept the easement just so that they could have access to their own land. You could try to offer to buy it, but legally there is nothing to be done. Did you have a staked survey done on the place when you bought it, so that you know where your property lines and the easement are?
