The fire ant dance

I remember my first encounter! I was visiting my son in Texas,we were walking around his place and I stopped right on top of a nest! I was dancing and jumping and cussing in just a few minutes. Those bites take forever to clear up to! And water does not wash them off!lol

but in spite of what them little buggers can do I can only visualize what you did in probably 5 seconds or less

I am still laughing but am glad you are feeling better and it was not more serious.

No.. where i lived in Florida, we had what we would call "bull ants"(not sure of thats the REAL name for them... Florida folks should know what i'm talking about??).... they were black and red (and probably 3 times the size of fire ants.).... and hurt like HELL. I'll try to google them for ya.

These look like them...i guess they call them carpenter ants(we always called them bull ants..)... and they hurt like hell when they bite!! They grab on and dont let go......10x worse than fire ants... IMO...
