lol any moving
Ok so I am a terrible person and decided to "peek" aka make a tiny tiny "window" over the air cell with an exacto knife and I tossed 2 eggs because they were 100% dead but the last little egg has a peep moving around... unfortunately they pipped over a vein!! There's some blood but not a massive amount so I'm hoping tomorrow morning there will be another peep in the bator!

If not, there are more eggs due in 3 days so hopefully the first chick will have a buddy.

Congratulations!!!!

I wouldn't have been able to sleep either. Too exciting....

I just put 10 eggs in my brinsea eco 20 this morning. It's my first hatch and I can't wait to see the little chicks that will come out of this little adventure!!!

Unfortunately, my bloody pips never hatched out ( I can only assume it was because they were simply too weak to hatch after losing a portion of their blood supply ). They did the same thing you described - pipped right through their veins.

I hope you have better luck with yours. I would think it might have something to do with *which* vein it pipped through, but I don't know for sure.

Please let us know how they fare. :)
