PS I have a special fondness for those black rosecombs. Just love all those black feathers, white ear lobes, and bright red comb. A very attractive bird.

Thanks everyone and he thanks you, as well. He did quite well some of his success was due to the bird but some was his own . He also won Champion in the Mature hen turkey class with his Royal Palm hen, Champion in the Egg Production class with a pair of white leghorns, of course Champion of the Bantam Cock class with his white leghorn rooster, But he also won the Junior showmanship class...which was all him...

I would encourage all youngsters to get involved with 4H...it teaches responsiblility and bebunks the entitlement myth...sometimes...AND PLEASE BUY SOME GOOD BIRDS FOR YOUR KIDS...because NO ONE likes to finish second....at least not every year
