The first time i saw spayed hens !

I don't know how to express my feelings ,the first time i see the spayed hens. shocked! surprised! unbelieveble! ,all they are !
A spayed hen is really different from a common hen,it looks more like a rooster than a hen , it has big ,red crest; long tail,and its feathers are very beautiful.
I want to send a picture to this post,but i don't know how to make it .

How exactly do you spay a hen? My vet said that they will not survive a hysterectomy.

Maybe a tubal ligation?? No clue!! This is a new one to me.
