Best way to start compromising is to stop making this a republican verse democrat issue. We need plans that work and are smart economically that do not have anything to do with political party preference. What's done is done and we must move on. The American people have been selecting which puppet they want for quite some time now.

Yeah, vote for a third party candidate. We need to start voting FOR people instead of AGAINST them. That's what just about anyone I know does when voting for Republicans or Democrats.

Under Obama the deficit is higher then ever. That's a fact. Also the spending is the highest it's ever been. And that's a fact. There was a chart posted in this thread that shows it. It would be nice if they used facts on those posters.

what's the source for your fact? Fox news, MSNBC and Wikipidia do not count unless you have unbiased sources backing them up.

So next week the other shoe falls and the sequester will kick in.
Does anyone think that cutting 1% of a over 3 trillion dollar budget will cause all the doom and gloom that some are saying ?

From my understanding they are only cutting the planned increase. Every department will still get more to spend this year, just not as much as they normally get.

but all we hear is "OMG the sky is falling!"
