the Fluffer Nutter

We have one lone silkie in a flock of Dominicks. Last year she laid an egg a month.. less than an inch long with no yolk. This year she is laying every other day... the eggs are slightly larger... still with no yolk. Anyone else have this happening?

That's her name. She's fluffy and acts strange (nutty).

She's cute but not much in the egg department... I obviously don't have to decide if she'd be good breeding stock! I sent for some silkie eggs and hope to sneak them under a broody Dominique and add them to the flock... she might be lonely for someone her size

I dont know but you need to market these. Maybe you could make a fortune selling cholesterol free eggs! All whites, no need to seperate yolk.

It would take a lot of them to make a breakfast. Just for fun I took a photo of two of the Fluffer Nutter's eggs next to a Silkie hatching egg that just arrived in the mail today. Hope this works!
