Silvanus wrapped his wings about him, peering at the bleary sky.
His nettle tipped tail curled around itself agitatedly, and the claws of his right hand chipped against the stone on which he perched.

Lilith was creeping through the thick undergrowth, her wings pressed tightly against her sides so the sharp branches wouldn't scratch them. She muttered something under her breath, already in a horrible mood as she unconciously approached the rock.

He sensed her coming as she approached, halting the clicking of his claws and tail flicking,
A heightened sense of smell was another of his gifts and he could smell her far before the noise she made gave her away With a twirl he leveled his head towards the ground, painted mask ready to meet her head on.

Lilith crept from the bushes, hardly a shadow as she moved with soundless grace. She spotted Silvanus crouching on the rock and froze, her lips curling back over her razor sharp teeth and letting a quiet, but deadly snarl creep through her jaws.
