Lily glared at the dragon, i survived on berries alone and i can survive longer.
"Not if I have anything to say about it." She looked thoughtful for a moment "You know, you've never really lived until you've had anothers life at the tip of your claws. Its a rather exciting feeling, wouldn't you agree?"

"What the..." Mayelle flared her wings and breaked hard, banking sharply to the left to turn around. Her heartbeat fluttered nervously in her chest as she scanned the forest, pin-pointing the location of the chaser whom she assumed wasn't the one who made the cry for help. She gulped, then let out a fierce battle roar and dove, breaking at the last second to pull her claws out and drive them in the direction of the larger, chaser.
The only problem was, it was not the right creature. Instead, what was felled under the claws was a large ape; he had been watching what had happened from the trees and took-off at the sound of the scream. His mate was running through the trees ahead of him, giving the impression that something was being chased. The real attacker was long-gone, but his mistake was assuming that his latest victim was already dead. It's cries of agony could now be heard more clearly because it had heard Mayelle and knew there was someone here that could help.

Mayella yawned, then pointed with a claw towards the east where some small huts surrounding a larger area could be seen near the outskirts of the city "Thats the training area," she explained "Where me and the other learners train to become warriors. Its on the edge of the city so the citizens aren't disturbed by the noise we make sometimes."
Chantal looked over lazily, and yawned along with Mayella. "I do hope you don't mind if I settle down for the night, I'm just realizing how tired I am." She said with a chuckle. "If there's more to be seen, could we possibly resume the tour tomorrow? Or I could just look around on my own, it's no big bother..."

Mayella cursed under her breath and pushed off a nearby tree, gliding through the forest towards the sound. She landed on the trunk of a large tree above whatever was making the noise, her claws slipping on the damp bark before finding a hold. She peered down, trying to spot whoever was crying out for help.

Lily looked perfectly cslm but she was burning with anger, So you change your mind NOW? She thought,
