"still it seems like it would be very overwhelming" niernen said (how long will they be walking to her den?)
Kyra stopped when they reached quite a large den near the centre of Pelendava. The inside was divided up into four different areas, each seperated by a curtain of vines that hung from the roof. Kyra directed Niernen to a thick bed of moss of feathers in one of the areas. "Put her here."

Quote: "whatever you say" he said rolling his eyes and sitting next to rauthr
"you finally joined me Zar?" rauthr said snickering
"i thought i told you not to call me that?!" Zar'roc exclaimed
"you did" rauthr said smiling and plucking a tuft of deer hair off zar'roc's face.
Quote: "alright" niernen said gently lowering brisingur to the bed.
once she was set down brisingur's head rolled limply to one side, she moaned still unconcious.

"Did it hurt?" Christina echoed, narrowing her eyes. "Did it hurt? How would you like to have your scales burned away by acid! Of course it hurt!" She broke off, muttering about stupid questions for a few seconds, then furrowed her brow as he continued rambling. "Weaklings? Who are you talking about?"

"No need to get snippy," he replied, raising his brows, "Well, of course it hurt. But lets say you had a scale, 1 to 10... No, no... You really don't have much to compare it to, do you? Perhaps we should work on that at a later date. Oh, by that I mean every one other than myself. That I have met, I still hold out hope to find my equal, however."

Adeline didn't seem to be paying much attention to either of them, her attention was focused on the den and what was going on outside.

___

Kyra arranged her into a comfortable postion and ushered Niernen outside. "She needs to rest now, you can come back tomorrow."

"I think you've made your point." She said coolly, remembering all too well the night he had 'played' with her after she had brought him his food. It was hard to forget. "When you do find someone, tell him to go somewhere else."

He chuckled and shifted himself in the tree, reaching his arms into the air and closing his eyes, "If I ever do, that will be the day. I dream of that day."
