The Fricken Chicken story!

Pics
This is for sure a strange question BUT is there some place I can find ALL the chicken breed acronyms...I'm a newbie to them and figured out the fairly easy ones but struggle with the more complicated ones...I REALLY like reading all the great chicken raising stories just wish I knew what birds are being discussed lol

This should help. Chicken Breed Abbreviations

You take beautiful pictures. I'm so sorry your flock is being ravaged by predators. Poor little chickies.
I only use my phone to take pictures, the chickens are just photogenic on their own! Thanks, its hard to have my flock raided back to back. I do live on a mountain side, so I guess predators are a given.

Couldn't find Falkor and Blondie, first day I let them out in a while. Busted them dust bathing in my shade garden. 😆

Hopefully I will get to that kind of happy place with our flock ...right now the bigs are demanding and the littles are piranhas that EVERYTHING you give while the bigs want to savor the treat but can't move for them as fast as the littles...all the littles should be laying in a couple months and things should balance out....I HOPE. You take come awesome pictures of flock ..Thank you.

These are the 9 who made the cut, from my youngins in the coop. I sent 5 to new homes. Including Mallo. From top left clockwise, Hera the dark silkie, no name Amerucana, Irene the buff colored silkie, Iris the blue silkie, Cassin Falkor's hatch, Finger (the brighter marked one) and Thumbs OEGB/D'uccle cross, no name black cochin silkie cross, and the no name LF cochin.

Cassin is over a month old now. Still no comb. So I'm leaning towards pullet. Based on last years chicks.

I can not wait for my younger flock start laying. I'm most curious about the 2 black chickens from TSC. They are a silke something thats all I know. But they are growing up to be decent size birds.
