It's a wonderful gift for someone else. Do you normally give some away?Gave a really good friend 5 of my chicks today, 3 EE and 2 California whites. Plus gave her 4 pullets from my moms! Looks a bit empty in the baby cage!
I didn't plan on keeping all the EE or California whites. But I didn't want to just give them to someone random. I wanted them to go to someone I know. When I send chickens off, I try to keep tabs on them. I haven't spoke to her in a while, she called to wish me happy birthday. We talked chickens, and well that is what happened! Lol but to answer your question. It just depends. The 3 brahma, and 2 polish are staying. Same for the other 3 EE and 2 CW.It's a wonderful gift for someone else. Do you normally give some away?
