I am amazed at how their coloring can change during a molt.I think she is molting, she won't let me catch her since I trimmed her nails. Since winter is here, I started mixing in some meat bird crumbles for extra protein. Specially since half my flock is molting. Blondie doesn't even look like the same chicken. She is more salmon color now. I need to get some new pictures of her. Her daughter, Brazzy, my friend has lighten 2 shades since her molt!

Can you get a pic of her comb and tail, and maybe her head. She still looks like a girl.I hope I'm really wrong. But I suspect streamers are growing on my dear Zoomie.... I'll be bummed I don't want a frizzle rooster.

My babies are good their like 2-3 months old now! I'll try to get pics.
Some feathers are still coming in. Comb much flatter than the white silkies. Some are wet too. I had to push the feathers back some to get the comb to show good. Can you get a pic of her comb and tail, and maybe her head. She still looks like a girl.
