It was a good turkey day. I made bread for the first time and Red Velvet cupcakes from scratch. Not too bad. I really didn't want to get up this morning but had to go to work.

Unfortunately after the government shutdown I really don't have the vacation time to take off. Totally stinks.

Yes yes it does. Mario was use it or loose it on a years worth of vacation this year that he could not use because this crazy project.
He has been home but programming anyway. The office is closed today for him and he is still working.
He is not even a flipping programmer!

Hey everyone, hows all? I agree on cold and nasty. Not so cold here tonight but will get that way soon they say. We have an overactive 3 - 3 1/2 month old pullet laying eggs. I mean wow.

Hope you all had a nice turkey day, took my kids to MIL's for a few days, they have been out of school all week and with DH working out of town, wasn't sure how to entertain them.... MIL's house worked like a charm!!

More eggs in the bator tomorrow, woo-hoo!! First eggs in the bator since summer, I'm excited!!

Dont know what breed we had SFH and Coronation Sussex in there. They have quit laying now.

We picked up Chocolate Cuckoo Orps, Pavs, Brenda cockerel and Mottled Orps.
